On Monday, the City Council passed the budget for the next fiscal year, with higher taxes and police pay raises.
Meanwhile, Mecklenburg County Commissioners are a step closer to finalizing the County’s budget for next year, also with a potential tax increase and a plan to raise pay for teachers.
Atrium has plans to spend $1 billion in the hospital system’s facilities around Charlotte, the largest capital investment in the company’s history- how will their customers benefit?
And a unanimous vote in the North Carolina House on a billthat creates a reserve account for the DOT to pay for changes or cancellation of the I-77 Toll Lane contract. We'll discuss what this could mean.
