On the next Charlotte Talks...

Growing up in Charlotte, Willie “Tre” Smith fell in love with dance, and after years of training here, went to New York City to seek his fortune.

After years of dancing and teaching dance, he landed a role in the hottest musical in the country- and how he’s been in every company of "Hamilton" around, including Broadway, and has finally come home to Charlotte to perform.

We’ll talk to Tre Smith about the journey from his seeing his first musical in Charlotte as a kid, to coming home to perform in Hamilton- his first professional appearance back in his home town.
