John Hope Franklin
Celebrated Historian John Hope Franklin joins us to talk about his long and remarkable career. He has served on many presidential commissions and has been awarded many high honors for his contributions to history and society. We'll also be joined by representatives of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) to talk about how the association started, what it stands for, and how Black History Month began.
