According the the FAA, flight 1549 had 148 passengers, plus five or six crew members. It crashed into the Hudson River less than 3 minutes after takeoff. There are no reports of deaths. The FAA says everyone is off the plane. Eyewitnesses have reported flocks of birds flew into the plane's engines. FAA spokeswoman Laura Brown says it's too early to say if that happened. US Airways will soon address families and have a news conference at Douglas International Airport.
