Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Chief Rodney Monroe has been on the job for seven weeks now. It's been an eventful time. On Friday, he announced wide-ranging changes to the way the department approaches crime. Also under Monroe's watch, an officer was fired for the first time in ten years for using deadly force. And the department has had to contend with question surrounding a taser-induced death. WFAE's Lisa Miller spoke with Monroe about his time here so far.
