Biden: 'End this War in Iraq'

Biden began his day of campaigning by speaking to a crowd of around 1,500 at Halton Arena at UNC Charlotte. The Delaware Senator told the audience that the focus of an Obama administration would be to restore the nation's middle class and to rebuild a positive image of America abroad. "Ladies and gentlemen, the first step in reclaiming America's respect and leadership is to end this war in Iraq. End this war," Biden said. Biden was scheduled to have three events in North Carolina by day's end. Other stops were to be at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem and Meredith College in Raleigh. North Carolina hasn't voted for a Democrat since Jimmy Carter 32 years ago.
