Best selling author Greg Iles has just released the final book in his Natchez Burning trilogy. Guest host Erik Spanberg from the Charlotte Business Journal is joined by Iles to discuss the latest book, Mississippi Blood - and the true events that inspired it, when Charlotte Talks.
Best selling novelist Greg Iles was born in Germany, but grew up in small town Mississippi. He has just released the final book in his Natchez Burning trilogy, about a prosecutor in the American South.
The series encounters murder, Civil Rights history and hate crimes inspired by real life events. The final book in the series continues to shine a light on the violent history of the South.
Guest host Erik Spanberg, from the Charlotte Business Journal, will be joined by Greg Iles to talk about the trilogy and the true events that inspired the story, about the research that went into writing this kind of thriller and the real life accident that turned one book into three, when Charlotte Talks.
