Back-to-School: Education Reporter Roundtable
School starts for Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools tomorrow, and officials are scrambling to make sure the system is ready - or near ready to begin the year. Racing to hire additional teachers, setting up dozens of mobile classrooms, and a switch for some schools to K-8 formats are keeping principals, administration members and others very busy. In addition, there's still the search for a new Superintendent to replace Peter Gorman. We'll gather a panel of education reporters to bring us up to date on the busy beginning of this school year for CMS and what they'll be working on throughout the year.
