B of A Buys Countrywide

Bank of America's announcement last week that it's buying the nation's largest mortgage lender, Countrywide, means the Charlotte bank is becoming an even bigger player on the national financial scene. For some analysis on why the deal was done and what it means, WFAE's Scott Graf called Nancy Bush, an analyst based in South Carolina. He began by asking why the deal was attractive to Bank of America.
