Actor's Theatre 25th Anniversary & Women’s Inter-Cultural Exchange

Actor's Theatre of Charlotte

Part One: Actor's Theatre 25th Anniversary. Local theatre is thriving in our region but few venues have offered high quality productions for as long as Actor's Theatre of Charlotte. This year the theatre company celebrates its 25th anniversary. From quirky hits to world premieres, its a history filled with maverick productions, and cultural milestones . We'll explore the history of Actor's Theatre with two men who have seen it all, when Charlotte Talks.

Part Two: Women’s Inter-Cultural Exchange. A Social Capital Benchmark Study indicated the Charlotte region needed to build social capital. This included fostering social and inter-racial trust if it was to continue to be viewed as a growing, dynamic Southern and national city. The Women's Inter-Cultural Exchange was founded in 2005 by two women who hoped to meet this need. And yesterday, WIE hosted its annual conference at the Southern Women’s Show. The conference included talks by racially diverse and successful women about how they achieved their goals and why inter-racial trust is essential. We meet one of the founders of the Women’s Inter-cultural Exchange and her mentor, when Charlotte Talks,
