Most candidates are looking ahead to the November general election. But some candidates must first win a runoff election on Tuesday. That's the case for Republicans Scott Keadle and Richard Hudson in the 8th District congressional race, and Jim Pendergraph and Robert Pittenger in the 9th District. They gathered Monday for debates at Charlotte public television station WTVI. Health care was among the topics addressed in the 8th district debate. Both Keadle and Hudson want to repeal the Affordable Care Act recently upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court. They offered some alternatives during the debate. You can listen to them here (Keadle talks first).
