Man's Body Located in Lake Norman

(04/19/06) Searchers Wednesday found the body of a Lincolnton man who drowned in Lake Norman. The sheriff's office says 71-year-old James Huffman apparently fell into the water from a boat about a half-mile from shore yesterday. Huffman and his wife had been fishing on Lake Norman Tuesday morning. The sheriff's office says the couple had returned to the Little Creek access but Huffman went back out on the lake alone to check on some equipment on the boat.
