(1/20/06) Sunday the Carolina Panthers take on the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC title. It's the team's third conference championship game in franchise history. The last time the Panthers were this deep in the playoffs Charlotte fans and city leaders noisily embraced the team. But this year, the team and the city are taking a more conservative approach. The airline set-up shop in the Uni-Four last spring to much fanfare from city leaders. But the ventrue soon fizzled and now those same city leaders are looking for a carrier to replace Delta.
