Voters Say Yes to Bonds and Transit Tax

Mecklenburg County voters decided to keep the half-cent sales tax in place, which goes to support the Charlotte Area Transit System. They also approved a $516-million bond to go for construction of new schools and renovations of existing ones. WFAE's Lisa Miller and Simone Orendain were at a restaurant in Dilworth where supporters of the transit tax and the bonds gathered and have this report.
