Public Hearings on BofA-Countrywide Deal Set

The Federal Reserve Board will hold public meetings in April on Charlotte-based Bank of America's planned buyout of the troubled mortgage lender Countrywide Financial. The move comes after community groups and others protested the deal since it was announced in January.
