In 2007 Hendley founded Wine to Water, an organization that digs wells and helps provide infrastructure so that poor villages can have a clean, stable supply of water. Doc Hendley joined us early on in his endeavor and he has just written a book on his experiences. He is back for another visit to share his remarkable life and work. Originally Aired 1/6/2012

Thu, 09 May 2013 04:00:00 +0000 26938 at http://wfae.org Doc Hendley: From Wine to Water (Rebroadcast) Twelve In Twelve: The Next Chapter http://wfae.org/post/twelve-twelve-next-chapter
A year ago, three intrepid Charlotteans set out on a round-the-world mission. A father and his two sons - then 8-year-old Buck and his teenage brother, Jackson, visited twelve countries in twelve months. But this wasn’t a vacation. They chose the places they went so they could help the people in those countries in some way and all of this was Jackson’s idea. From nearly drowning in Thailand, to helping run a nursery school in Tanzania, they share their adventure of good will.
Tue, 07 Aug 2012 04:00:00 +0000 Charlotte Talks 2166 at http://wfae.org Twelve In Twelve: The Next Chapter
