Safety en Uptown Loop Study Identifies Safety Risks <p>A year-long study of the Uptown loop has been completed and will be presented to City Council Monday night. It's the first step to get funding for improvements to target safety.</p><p>Cheryl Myers is the senior vice president for planning and development for Charlotte Center City Partners. In 2011, her group unveiled a set of recommendations to City Council including doing a study of the city's interstate highway system.
